Religious Freedom Day

Religious Freedom Day is celebrated on January 16th.
    It is a holiday for everyone! Religious freedom means that our government cannot make any laws that establish a religion or that prevents citizens from worshipping as they please. George Mason, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison worked hard to include religious freedom in the U.S. Constitution. They believed that it would prevent war.
